The brief was to upgrade the liveability of this inner north post-war home and renovate the kitchen, bathrooms and laundry for a young family. The original house was in a state of disrepair and needed a major update to transform it into a liveable space for the future. The build required structural changes; we removed a wall separating the kitchen and dining to create functional open plan living with more visibility between kitchen and dining room. The client requested a traditional style kitchen with marble bench tops, hexagonal tiled splashback and royal blue accents throughout. We created a clean and modern bathroom update with statement encaustic feature tiles.
